HORSE N AROUND HOOPS appeals to all ages, genders and cultures, which is clearly illustrated in the following photos and videos...

The KANSAS CITY launch included a VIP Party at the COLLEGE BASKETBALL EXPERIENCE (CBE) introducing the program, ending in an exhibition in Lawrence, Kansas featuring heroes from the KANSAS JAYHAWKS NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP team. From February thru July '09, HORSE N AROUND HOOPS was incubated and played all over the greater KC area. These various contests included actual Tournaments as well as Exhibitions, where lucky winners of various contests that were selected to participate via: Trivia Games, random Drawings and Free Throw Competitions around the city and state.

Additional highlights include HORSE N AROUND HOOPS' celebrity entertainment event in partnership with radio station 810 WHB, a 50,000 watt station that covers a six state area in the Midwest. Produced in the popular Power and Light District and right across from the Sprint center, more than 30,000 impressions were served onsite. Celebrity participation included local Kansas City personalities as well as many National Celebrities.

Further highlights include the US ARMY as well as our featured athletes: KC Chiefs Hall of Famer, Bobby Bell and ex NBA great Joe C Meriwether. Photos include: the CBE Finals in July and the August 1st exhibition at CROWN TOYOTA in Lawrence, Ks (Univ of Kansas ). The CROWN TOYOTA event featured MARIO CHALMERS, hero of the KU NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP team in 2008. Mario just completed his rookie season in the NBA with the MIAMI HEAT where he made the NBA ALL ROOKIE TEAM. Mario and his Jayhawk teammates put on a great show in front of more than 500 crazed fans. This was a very competitive match that where one bucket made the difference - Mario barely beat out Ryan Magdzairz, who previously beat David Kalb at the CBE event.

Our emcee, JIMMIE WALKER, "JJ" from Good Times is among the celebrities pictured with 2008 Cotton Bowl MVP, TONY TEMPLE, soap opera TV star, J EDDY PECK, former Harlem Globetrotter dribbler, GATOR RIVERS as well as more than 25 current and former KC area celebrities. Our HORSE N AROUND HOOPS team pictured also includes actor, CYLK COZART of White Men Can't Jump, Conspiracy Theory, etc. and DAVID KALB, who gained instant fame for beating LEBRON JAMES in the now famous H.O.R.S.E. exhibition in Venice Beach, California.
